Thank you to Avah who brought a pumpkin in for our class. Today we looked at the pumpkin and talked about the job of the stem. Then we cut the top open and left it on the table. As the students pulled and scooped, we heard, wet, squishy, slimy, seeds, guts as descriptors for what was inside. Stay tuned as someone said that we could eat the pumpkin seeds. We are off to wash and prepare them for cooking.
