Letters, Books, and Numbers OH MY!

Throughout the day there are multiple opportunities for children to practice their literacy and mathematical skills.

A group of students were playing the alphabet soup game. The objective of this game is to match the letters from the pot to the letter cards on the table.

At the literacy area Miss D, the student teacher, had a group of children for guided reading.

At another table a group of children were playing a dice game. The objective of this game is for each child to roll the dice and match the foam numbers with the dice. This activity helps children begin to learn their numbers in a fun and creative way!
