SuperHeroes have arrived

The latest inquiry that has started is about Superheroes. Today they were encouraged to come up with their name and super power. Lots of great writing happening.

Spring is in the Air

As a group we went outside to look at the signs of spring.  The students began to investigate their surroundings and noticed there are different signs of spring. Can you spot the signs of new life?

Miss H came back from Tanzania to tell us about her trip

The students were very interested in learning about Miss. H's thrip to Tanzania. They were glued to the photos and her explanation of them. They were able to make comparisons that they saw there to the things we have here. They noticed that the schools had no carpet, toys, pictures or colors. They noticed that they lived in mud huts that had to be rebuilt every five years. They loved to see the pictures of all of the animals that she saw on her Safari. Thank you for coming back and sharing your experiences with us. We learned to be a little more grateful for what we have as we saw how little the people there had.
